After a hail storm
Do not sign anything on the doorstep.
Every storm brings out-of-state crews to the Front Range with clipboards. Here is what we tell neighbors.
- Take photos of the hail on the ground next to something with a known size. A quarter works.
- Get a free inspection from someone local before you call your insurer, so you know what you are claiming.
- Have your roofer meet the adjuster. Two people on the roof find more than one.
- Colorado law lets you cancel a roofing contract within 72 hours if your claim is denied. Ask us for the wording.
Who you are calling
I started roofing in Jefferson County in 2009 and started Ridgeline in 2016 with two guys I still work with. We do about 120 roofs a year, which is enough to be good at it and few enough that I have seen every one of them.
You will talk to me or to Rosa in the office, never a call center. If something is wrong after we leave, it is my name on the truck, so call me.
